Hi, I'm Sam!
Hey there! Thanks for shopping with Syd+LJ Creations! My name is Samantha, I'm a wife and mom of two beautiful little girls. Syd+LJ Creations started out as a hobby back in 2018 after my youngest (LJ) was born. It was something to do that gave me a small piece of 'the old me' back that I thought I lost when I became a mom. I started out doing simple decals on wine glasses and tumblers, and slowly branched off into t-shirts and tanks, then ultimately fell into the rabbit hole that is the world of glitter tumblers.
I transitioned back to mostly shirts and other apparel items in 2021, when I learned about screen prints and direct-to-film transfers. This has allowed me to craft and work around my children safely, as well as get them involved when I need to hand-dye items. You read that right! When you purchase a hand-dyed item, there is a HUGE chance you're receiving an item that was made by one of my girls, helping her explore her creativity!
My goal with my small business is to show my children that if they work hard enough, they can succeed and bring their vision to life, while making their passion their paycheck.
